It places emphasis on synchronizing18 movements with breathing techniques. Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi is designed to improve the general health and well-being of the practitioner.

 

Tai Chi makes you feel good; reduces stress and leaves you feeling energised and now you can experience the benefits at your office, corporate events or team building days. Sessions are suitable for complete beginners and no special clothing is needed.  As a form of exercise tai chi doesn’t rely on strength or speed for its effectiveness, making it suitable for women and men, young and old, weak or strong.

 

The overall effect of the exercise is to reduce mental stress and physical tension carried in the muscles of the body. This Qigong is very effective and easy to learn. The gentle movements doubled by the rhythmic breathing are suitable for people of all ages as it does not put too much stress on muscles and joints and can be practiced sitting or standing.

• We recommend a maximum of 30 participants; however this is also dependent on the space available.

 

Do we need to provide any equipment?

• You will not need to provide anything apart from the space.  The trainer will also supply their own music on the day.

 

What can we expect during a 45-minute session?

• The 45-minute session will focus on 6 poses, offering an educational session on physical awareness.

 

What can we expect during a 60-minute session?

• The same as the 45 minutes session but you get to enjoy 15 minutes of meditation at the end.
