In-Office Hatha Yoga FAQ
I've never done yoga before. Can I join?
Hatha is the foundation of all yoga styles and is gentle enough for complete beginners, while still genuinely challenging.
What should people wear?
Comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. No special gear is needed.
What space do we need?
A cleared meeting room or open space with enough floor room for mats. We will confirm mat arrangements when you book. In summer it can also be possible to run sessions outdoors, if you have access to an outdoor area.
How long is a class?
Classes run 45 to 60 minutes, a natural fit for a lunchtime or end-of-day slot.
How is Hatha different from Vinyasa?
Hatha works with steady, held postures with breathing exercises, while Vinyasa is a faster, flowing style. Hatha is the calmer of the two.
Will people be too sweaty to return to work?
Hatha is a gentler practice, so most people return to their desks comfortably, feeling stretched and refreshed rather than worn out.
How often should we run classes?
Weekly classes build the most benefit, letting flexibility, posture and energy improve steadily over time.

Office Vinyasa Yoga FAQ
How is Vinyasa different from Hatha?
Vinyasa strings poses into flowing sequences synchronised with the breath, making it more vigorous and dynamic than Hatha.
Do participants need to be fit already?
The instructor offers options for every level, though Vinyasa particularly suits teams who like to keep moving.
Can complete beginners join?
Beginners are welcome and modifications are offered throughout the class.
What should people wear?
Light, comfortable activewear is best, as this is a more energetic style of yoga.
What space and equipment do we need?
A cleared room with space for mats. We will confirm mat arrangements when you book.
Why is it good for desk-based teams?
It directly counteracts long hours of sitting, building strength, cardiovascular fitness and sharper focus in one session.
Is it better as a one-off or ongoing?
It shines as an ongoing fitness option, with strength and focus building week on week.
